Communities across the U.S. are struggling to provide the appropriate recreational facilities for its local athletes. Dynoswim and a host of other interested parties are no exception. Lucky for us, Dynoswimmer Judi Rich founded Friends Of Swimming, a community based advocacy group chartered to fully support the City of Palm Coast and Flagler County in an effort to build a competition level aquatic facility.
We know there are a host of other communities out there struggling with the same issues. If you could share some of your insights with us, we'd surely appreciate the advice. We'd also be more than happy to share our experiences with you. It's about doing what's right for the swimming community, and promoting our sport.
In the meantime, check out the local news and how we're progressing toward a new pool.
Great job Judy.
For years and years people have been talking about having a new pool built, but absolutely no one has done anything to actually do it. I think that if we put enough pressure on the local government, a pool will be built. I think that the organization that you created will do just that. Without people like you nothing would ever be fixed, renovated, or improved in Palm Coast.
I truly believe that if the swim community and all the residents who share in our vision unite, we can accomplish our goal. However, we must work hand-in-hand with the city, the county and the school board to make this dream a reality. We're here as supporters and to encourage--not protest or make demands.
And I would like to thank everyone, including Dynoswim, for supporting this group effort. It's much appreciated.
Things are definitely progressing and moving forward. Great things are to come!
